Sunday April 4th- Happy Birthday to my roommate Sarah Marshall and Happy Resurrection Day for Jesus! We had a wonderful celebration of the day here at the Centre. 12 people were still off in Scotland and Ireland so the house was MUCH quieter and easier to feel the happy spirit that is present with General Conference and this wonderful holiday.
Our director's wife, Terry Schuler, who is the one that oversees what we eat here made the most delicious brunch I have ever eaten! There were tarts, puddings, fruit salads, hash-browns, American bacon, cake, candy and omelets. So yummy!
After brunch we had a fireside which was beautiful and then we watched Conference! We streamed it live so it started at 5pm for us here. For some reason, Conference had a larger effect on me that normal. I loved it :] Can not wait to get the Ensign and re-read the talks! What a wonderful Easter! Have a great day!
